Esther Faith Bertges

With broken hearts, we share the passing of Esther Faith Bertges.

Born prematurely at 24 weeks on Aug. 21, 2025, Esther bravely fought for seven days before peacefully passing on Aug. 28, 2025, at West Penn Hospital. Though her time with us was brief, she filled our lives with immeasurable love and will forever remain in our hearts.

Esther will be lovingly remembered by her parents, James M. and Jillian S. (Metz) Bertges of Kittanning; her big sister, Emma Grace Gage, at home; her paternal grandmother, Barbara H. Bertges of Plum; her paternal grandfather, Jim T. Bertges of Chippewa; and her maternal grandparents, David and Cynthia Metz of Kittanning.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, Sept. 1, 2025, from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM at Center Hill Covenant Brethren Church, 2039 Freeport Rd., Kittanning, with Pastor Donald Peters officiating. Interment will follow in Center Hill Covenant Cemetery, Kittanning, PA.
