Barry L. Rumbaugh
Barry L. Rumbaugh, age 48, of Kittanning, died Saturday, April 24, 2010, at Butler Memorial Hospital.He was born on July 20, 1961, in Kittanning to Herbert E. and Susie M. (Burns) Rumbaugh.
Barry was a former flagman for Area Wide. He also was a popular disk jockey known to friends as the "Taz Master" who played for many area events and benefits. He was a member of the Dayton Sportsman's Club and the Oakwood Pool League. Barry was a champion Hog Caller winning the hog calling event at the Dayton Fair many times. He loved to play bingo, sing karaoke, listen to music, DJ, and spend time with his friends and family.
He is survived by his father, Herbert E. Rumbaugh of Kittanning; two brothers, George "Herb" Rumbaugh of Dayton, and Richard A. Rumbaugh and wife Jennifer of North Apollo; four sisters, Mary Moore Olinger, Nancy Gadley and husband Roger, Connie Brosius and husband Ed all of Kittanning, and Bonnie Wysocki and husband Anthony of Apollo; several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother; his brother Herbert Rumbaugh, Jr., and his sister Shirley Rumbaugh.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at the Bauer Funeral Home, 515 N. McKean Street, Kittanning, PA, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 28, 2010, with the Rev. Wayne Sawyer officiating.
Interment will be in Dayton Glade Run Presbyterian Cemetery, Wayne Twp., Armstrong Co., PA.
