Kevin L. "K.C." Culbertson

Kevin L. "K.C." Culbertson, 65, of Rimersburg, PA, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.

He was born on Oct. 7, 1959 in Clarion, the son of Robert C. "Bob" and Elaine (Lindenpitz) Culbertson.

Kevin graduated from Union High School in 1977. He began his career as a welder at the family business, Culbertson Machine - formerly known as O.C. Lindenpitz & Son-before continuing his work with Cavco, the former Penn West.

He was a dedicated member of the Rimersburg Hose Company, where he previously served as president. He coached his son in T-Ball, Little League, and Senior League baseball for over 18 years. In his free time, Kevin enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and watching sports, especially cheering on the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Above all, he cherished time with his family, especially his wife, Fran. Kevin will be remembered for his kind heart, and dedication to hard work.

His memory will be cherished by his loving wife, Fran (Murray) Culbertson, whom he married on Jan. 27, 1978; son, Kacey R.L. Culbertson of Sligo; daughters, Stephanie E. Brown and husband, Mark and Kirsten R. Campbell and husband, Shane all of Rimersburg; his mother, Elaine Culbertson of Rimersburg; grandchildren, Paxton W. Culbertson, Kylar Culbertson and fiancée Aalaiyah Jacques, Alexi Culbertson and fiancé Jonathan Deitz, Brody Culbertson, Jalesa Elliott and husband Chris, Bubba Crissman and fiancée Krissa, Holden Brown, Colton Brown, Grayson Campbell and Noah Campbell; great-grandchildren, Axel, Nash, Brinley, Liam, Kai, Lakeyn, Bobby, Owen, Kason, and one on the way; sister, Laurie Hughes and husband, Steve, of Rimersburg and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert C. "Bob" Culbertson who died Sept. 9, 2023; and a sister, Robin Renee Culbertson.

Friends and family will be received from 11 - 1 PM on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2025 at Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 758 Main Street, Rimersburg.

Funeral services will be privately held for family with interment in Rimersburg Cemetery.
