Willovene Ruth Adams

Willovene Ruth Adams, age 81, of Kittanning, PA, died on Monday, October 1, 2007, at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital.

She was born on April 3, 1926, in Vandergrift,PA, to Emmett M. and Tirzah L. (VanHorne) Rankin.

Mrs. Adams was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She was previously a co-owner and operator of Adams Jewelry Store in Kittanning from 1976 until her retirement in 1986. Willovene was a 1944 graduate of Vandergrift High School.

She is survived by her three sons, Donald E. Adams of Kittanning, PA, Kevin G. Adams and his wife Phyllis of Kittanning, PA, and Jeffrey K. Adams of Indiana, PA; Six Grandchildren; and Five Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gene M. Adams who she married January 11, 1946 and who died December 17, 1994; and an infant daughter.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at the Bauer Funeral Home, 515 N. McKean Street, Kittanning, PA, where funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. on Thursday, October 4, 2007, with Rev. George Hall officiating.

Interment will be in the Rural Valley Cemetery, Rural Valley, PA.
