Cleora "Emmagene" Keeler

Cleora "Emmagene" Keeler, 86, of Gastown, PA, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Kittanning Care Center.

She was born May 20, 1931 in Cowanshannock Twp., Armstrong Co., PA, the daughter of Raymond and Blanche (Goldstrohm) Rearick.

Emmagene graduated from Shannock Valley High School in 1950 and was a member of St. Thomas United Church of Christ. She dedicated herself to caring for her family and home.

Her memory will be cherished by her son, Thompson W. Keeler and wife, Pamela, of Gastown; granddaughter, Kayla Jack and husband, Jared, of Kittanning; great-grandchildren, Garrett and Alayna Jack; brother, Ronald Rearick and wife, Ora Lee, of Frewsburg, NY; and sister, Doris Kuhn and husband, Leo, of Cadogan.

Emmagene was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Thompson Delone Keeler, whom she married February 17, 1951 and who died June 25, 1987; and sisters, Lois Schrecongost, Ida Mae Aikens, Shirley Kulick and Evelyn Crytzer.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Clark Chapel of the Bauer Funeral Home, Inc., 238 S. Main St., Elderton, PA.

Additional visitation will be from 10 AM until the time of funeral services at 11 AM on Friday, February 16, 2018 at the funeral home, with Dr. John L. Kautz officiating.

Interment will be in Elderton Cemetery, Elderton, PA.
