Beverly J. Redick

Beverly J. Redick, age 81, of Sligo, PA passed away Monday, January 30, 2012 at her residence.

She was born August 24, 1930 in Strattanville, PA, the daughter of Harold Addison and Letha Teresa (Conner) Miller.

Beverly was a lifetime resident of the area and worked as a nurse's aide at Meade Nursing Home and Conneautville Nursing Home. Her hobbies included playing cards, Yahtzee and bingo, and she also enjoyed visiting auctions, crocheting and watching television-especially her favorite show, "Law and Order". Beverly loved being at home and took great pride in its appearance and care; the house was always spotless and tidy for everyone who visited. Her family was extremely important to her, and she loved spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandson. Beverly's family and friends will always remember her tenacious spirit and strong-willed nature, and her love for them will never be forgotten.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Sue Black and husband, Frank, of Sligo; grandchildren, Richard A. Zellefrow, Pamela J. Barger, Christopher T. Zellefrow, Charles A. Zellefrow, Renee Downey and husband, Aaron, and Holly Cramer and husband, Lani; great-grandchildren, Shayla Marie Zellefrow, Brett A. Hubert, Jacob A. Mortimer, Janessa Sue Vasbinder, Colby and Anthony Hunsberger, Coty A., Dylan, Cameron, Keaton, Brock and Ethan Cramer, Cassidy Black and sister, Morgan, Alexis DeeAnna Black Hunsberger, and Olivia Fancher,; great-great-grandson, Logan Allen Cramer; brothers, Richard Miller, of Strattanville, Walter "Jack" Miller and wife, Peggy, of Florida, Emery Miller and wife Eloise, of Columbus, OH, Charles R. "Chick" Miller and wife, Katy, of Shippenville, and Ronald S. Miller and wife, Janet, of Sligo; extended family of caregivers, Betty Allmendinger, of Knox, Carolyn Dye, of Sligo, and Bonita Best, of Rimersburg; and a special neighbor and friend, Bonnie Gilbert and husband, Barry.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband of 16 years, Donald Redick, who passed away December 5, 1996; daughter, Bonnie Darlene Ferringer; son, Harold Eugene Ferringer; grandsons, Keith E. "Boe" Zellefrow, Jr., Walter R. "Wally" Zellefrow, Frank R. Black, Jr., and Cory M. Black; great-granddaughter, Brianna Nicole Black; brothers, retired Lt. Col. Avery J. Miller and Rev. William H. Miller; infant brother, Robert Miller; sisters, Rosalie Bowser and Marilyn M. Miller; and two infant sisters.

Relatives and friends may visit from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at the Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 758 Main Street, Rimersburg, where funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 2 PM on Thursday, February 2, 2012 with Pastor Randy Evans and Pastor Dan George co-officiating.

Burial will be in Rimersburg Cemetery, Rimersburg, Clarion Co., PA.
