Ruth L. Fulmer

Ruth L. Fulmer, 81, of Elderton, PA, passed away Friday, September 21, 2018, at Allegheny General Hospital.

She was born September 27, 1936 in Plumcreek Twp., Armstrong Co., PA, the daughter of Willard and Ella (Scott) Wingard.

Ruth was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of St. Paul's Congregational Church. She was dedicated to caring for her home and formerly worked at Robert Shaw in Indiana and Canales Nursery in Shelocta. Ruth's cats were very special to her. She loved visiting with friends and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Her memory will be cherished by her loving husband, William F. "Bill" Fulmer, whom she married September 8, 1990; step-daughters, Pamela Boyer and husband, Arthur, of Rural Valley, Stacey Fulmer, of Elderton, and Lesa Kepple and husband, Ron, of Elderton; grandsons, Josh and Jake Ingram, Tyler Fulmer, and Anden Lavely; three great-grandsons; and brother, Darrel Wingard and wife, Pam, of Indiana, PA.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Wilmer, Wayne and Glenn Wingard; and step-sister, Edith Pinkerton.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at the Clark Chapel of the Bauer Funeral Home, Inc., 238 S. Main Street, Elderton.

Additional visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at the funeral home, with Pastor Timothy Lewis officiating.

Interment will be in Harkleroad Cemetery, Rural Valley, PA.
