Richard O. "Dick" Stewart, 83, of Butler, PA, formerly of East Brady and Rimersburg, PA, passed away Friday, September, 7, 2018 at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Butler.

He was born June 27, 1935 in Rimersburg, the son of Clyde Gale and Esther (Lerch) Stewart.

Dick was a 1954 graduate of Redbank Valley High School and retired in 1986 from the Pennsylvania Fish Commission following 28 years of dedicated service. He also served proudly in the US Army Reserve.

He will be deeply missed by his sisters, Elsie Pelczarski, of Oceanside, CA, and Rhoda Freas, of Port Charlotte, FL; and many nieces and nephews.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Kenneth, William, John and James Stewart; and sisters, Darlene Schaffner, Marguerite Mundy, Betty Jo Harvey and Norma Parsons.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, September 12, 2018, at Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 758 Main Street, Rimersburg, PA, with Rev. Donald Jeffers, Jr. officiating.

Interment will be in Squirrel Hill Cemetery, New Bethlehem, PA.
