Wilda L. Sipe

Wilda L. Sipe, 81, of Kittanning, PA, passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Premier Armstrong Center, Kittanning.

She was born April 20, 1937 in South Buffalo Twp., Armstrong Co., PA, the daughter of Howard F. and Jane (Phillips) Sipe.

Wilda graduated from Freeport High School and was a longtime resident of Kittanning. She was a dedicated member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Kittanning where she was active in the Ladies Circle, the Women's Association and Club 55. Wilda enjoyed giving back to the community by volunteering at the former Armstrong County Health Center and at the local food bank. In her free time, she could be found walking, playing bingo, and spending time with her cats.

She will be deeply missed by her several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Wilda was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Howard F. Sipe, Jr., John Sipe, Melvin C. Sipe, William F. "Hank" Sipe, and Bernard Sipe; and sisters, Mae Belle Sipe, Verna Sipe, Violet Ladik, and Sarah Black.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 PM on Monday, June 18, 2018 at the Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 515 N. McKean Street, Kittanning.

Additional visitation will be from 11 AM until the time of funeral services at 1 PM on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dana Wilmot officiating.

Burial will be in Slate Lick Cemetery, Kittanning, PA.
