Alice O. McKinley

Alice O. "Oie" McKinley, age 69, of Ford City, PA, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018 at her home.

She was born on August 8, 1948 in Kittanning, Armstrong Co., PA, the daughter of Miles A. and Mamie (Gray) Baker.

Oie was a graduate of Elderton High School and had previously attended the United Rockville Lutheran Church. She enjoyed caring for her home and she was a wonderful caretaker for her grandmother, mother, and close friend. Oie was an excellent cook but she also liked needlepoint, crafts, listening to country music, taking long car rides, and watching the "Young and the Restless". Family was very important to her and she loved spending time with them. She also loved and adored her cat, Milo. Oie will best be remembered as a kind and caring person who was always willing to help family and friends.

She is survived by her brother, Miles Eugene Baker and wife, Peggy, of Ford City; her nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved, Jamie L. Baker, Samantha N. Baker, and Stephanie N. Baker.

Oie was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Norman L. McKinley who died November 30, 1996; and a brother, William A. Baker.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at United Rockville Lutheran Church, 720 State Route 2020, Ford City, PA 16226.

Burial will be in Whitesburg United Methodist Cemetery, Plumcreek Twp., Pennsylvania.
