Harry A. Troup

Harry A. Troup, 75, of Karns City, PA, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born January 17, 1942 in Ford City, PA, the son of Roy A. and Edith Viola (Goldinger) Troup.

Harry lived in Pennsylvania when he was younger but lived in New Jersey for many years due to his work as a maintenance mechanic at Nitta Casing, Inc. He was well-known for loving mechanical work and always maintaining his property. Harry enjoyed camping and fishing.

His memory will be cherished by his son, William J. Troup, of Karns City; daughter, Gretchen L. Rivera and husband, Rafael, of Flemington, NJ; grandson, Hunter Troup of South Carolina; sister, Eleanor Adams, of Ford City; and special friend, Delores Speer, of Lower Burrell.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Jane L. Troup; and brother, Paul Troup

Relatives and friends will be received from 10 AM until the time of blessing service at 12 PM on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at the Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 102 S. Argyle St., Petrolia, PA, with Rev. Richard Thompson officiating.

Entombment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway, NJ.
