Wilma M. McKelvey

Wilma M. McKelvey, 94, of Kittanning, PA passed away Monday, February 20, 2017 at Concordia of Franklin Park, where she resided for the last two years.

She was born June 3, 1922 in Kittanning, the daughter of Sumner N. and Dora B. (Crispen) Harriger.

Wilma was a life-long member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Kittanning. Her favorite pastimes were traveling and camping with her family.

She will be remembered with love by her daughter, Barbara Zielinski, of Plymouth, MN; son, James N. McKelvey and wife, Annie, of Freedom, PA; grandsons, Michael Zielinski and wife, Kriss, Richard Zielinski and wife, Mary, and Robert Zielinski and wife, Kara; great-grandchildren, Sarah, Jake, Christine, Justin, Emma and Matthew; and niece, Janet Lukas and husband, Mark, of Indiana, PA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, James H. McKelvey, whom she married January 19, 1939 and who died August 24, 2007; granddaughter, Elizabeth McKelvey; brother, Guy N. Harriger; sister, Virginia M. White; infant sister, Grace Harriger; and son-in-law, Fred Zielinski.

Visitation will be from 10 AM until the time of funeral services at 11 AM on Monday, February 27, 2017 at Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 515 N. McKean St., Kittanning, PA, with Pastor Bob Wacker officiating.

Interment will be in Kittanning Cemetery, Kittanning, PA.
