Teresa Ann (Henry) Hill

Teresa Ann (Henry) Hill, 95, of Worthington, PA, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2023 at ACMH in Kittanning, PA after complications of an injury.

She was born on Aug. 17, 1927 in Kittanning, PA, the daughter of Frederick I. and Cecelia A. (Heller) Henry.

Teresa married William "Bill" J. Hill on Sept. 26, 1952. He preceded her in death on Sept. 25, 1997.

Teresa graduated from Kittanning High School in 1945. She was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, where she volunteered in many areas. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and an avid supporter of the St. Mary's Youth Group. She often expressed her strong belief that the youth are the future of the church. Teresa loved spending time with her children and their families. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, playing cards, reading and puzzle books.

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William J. "Bill" Hill, three sisters, M. Gertrude Dunmire, Lucille G. Claypoole, and Rose Marie Rearick; her brothers, Fred C. Henry and Paul F. Henry; a niece and two nephews.

Her memory will be cherished by her sister, Elizabeth "Betty" (Henry) Stewart of Walkchalk; her daughter, Sharon Pearson of Worthington; son, James (Sue) Hill of Olmsted Twp., OH; grandchildren, Julie (Mike) Ryan of Hillsboro, OR, Jeffrey (Annescia) Hite of Mansfield, OH, James (Megan) Hill of Bellville, OH, and Melanie (Jesse) Hooper of Knik, AK; six great-grandchildren, Zachary, Makenzie, Emma, Samantha, Braeden, and Madeline; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Friends and extended family will be welcomed from 4 - 7 PM on Friday, March 3, 2023, at the Bauer Funeral Home, 515 N. McKean Street, Kittanning, PA.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at St. Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 348 N. Water St., Kittanning, with the Rev. Ronald J. Maquinana as celebrant.

Friends and family are invited to a luncheon at St. Mary's Hall following the interment at Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, PA.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations may be made in Teresa's memory to St. Mary's Youth Group., 101 W. High St., Kittanning, PA 16201.
