Thomas E. "Tom" Cox

Thomas E. "Tom" Cox, 83, of Kittanning, Pa., passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at his home

He was born on Nov. 23, 1938, in Kittanning, PA, the son of Jonathan E. and Wilda L. (Hallowell) Cox.

Tom was a U.S. Army veteran and a lifelong resident of the Kittanning area. He was with the Laborers Union Local #952 for over 50 years. Tom loved to work on cars and tinkering with things. He will be lovingly remembered for being able to fix anything.

His memory will be cherished by his loving wife of 57 years, Sandra K. (Crissman) Cox; his son, Thomas A. Cox and wife, Christine of Ford City; and his grandson, Nolan R. Cox. Tom is also survived by a brother, Michael Cox and wife, Linda and a sister, Janet Johns all of Kittanning.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents; seven brothers: Daniel Cox, David Cox, Donald Cox, Jack Cox, Robert Cox, William Cox and Wilbert Cox; and two sisters, Effie Arbuckle and Nanna Clark.

Services will be private.
