Deborah J. Lane

Deborah J. "Debi" Lane, 68, of Kittanning, PA, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 5, 2021, at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital.

She was born on July 12, 1953 in Kittanning, PA, the daughter of the late Ralph C. and Jean (Stewart) Smith.

Debi graduated from Kittanning High School and had attended the Harvest Church. She received her Bachelor's Degree in education from Slippery Rock University and was a substitute teacher for Armstrong County Area Schools. Debi volunteered at the election polls in East Franklin Township. She enjoyed scrapbooking and coloring, but her greatest joy was the love she had for her grandchildren. Debi was her son's, Christopher, biggest hockey fan and she never missed a game.

Her memory will be cherished by husband of 50 years, Tim Lane, whom she married Oct. 9, 1971; son, Christopher Lane and wife, Delayna, of Snowshoe, WV; daughter, Melanie Graham and husband, J.R., of Shelocta; five grandchildren, Brandon and Brittany Graham, and Kimberly, Angelina, and Arianna Lane; sister, Darlene Anderson of Cleveland, OK; a brother, Dennis Smith and wife, Linda, of Shelocta.

Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2021 at the Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 515 N. McKean Street, Kittanning,

Additional visitation will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021, until the time of funeral services at 11 a.m. at the Bauer Funeral Home with the Pastor Fred Neal III officiating.
