James H. Estes

Jim H. Estes, 52 of Kittanning, PA, passed away Friday, October 15th, 2021 at his home.

He was born May 17th, 1969 to Jhon Estes and Linda Pierce-Baker.

Jim owned and operated Not for Hire, MST 307 transporting. Prior to that he worked many years in the oil field and took pride in being a "roughneck".

Jim was a proud member of The Sons of the American Legion, enjoyed hunting in the Uinta Mountains, and fishing in the Florida Keys. He was a man that has been everywhere. For years before his passing, he made his living transporting things all throughout the lower 48 states, everything from motorcycles to airplanes. His other passions were boating, dancing, farming, working on just about anything and even flying in his ultra-light. Jim was a family man who thoroughly enjoyed spending all the time he could with his children and grandchildren. He will be missed greatly by anyone who ever met him.

He is survived by his parents, Jhon and Jeannie Estes of Lyman Wyoming; sister, Traci Estes Caldwell of Lyman, Wyoming; brother, Jason Jones of Evanston, Wyoming; brother, Josh Jones of Evanston, Wyoming; sister, Margaret Jochumson of Salt Lake City, Utah; his significant other, Tawni Schall of Kittanning Pennsylvania and her two children Greg and Taylor Samosky; his six children, Kelly Larsen and wife Tani of Roy Utah; Natoshia Daybell of Centerville, Utah; Sabrena Estes-Teetzel and husband Matthew of Fort Collins, Colorado; Angela Vallier and husband Trevor of Williston, North Dakota; Tiffany Estes of New Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; and Jimmy Estes of Evanston, Wyoming; Grandchildren Ryan Larsen, Tessa Larsen, Cooper Larsen, Delynada Vallier, Trinity Teetzel, Orion Teetzel and Jayce Vallier, Arianna Beck, and Juniper Culley; previous wives Julia Estes, Susan Estes and Rena Laperie; and many aunts, uncles, nieces nephews and cousins.

Jim was preceded in death by his brother, Clifton Estes, niece, Alysha Caldwell, Grandma Pat Ellifritz, his mother, Linda Pierce-Baker, grandparents, Harvey and Dorthy Estes, a granddaughter, Aria Teetzel, John Denison, Uncle Forrest Estes and many close friends and family.

A celebration of life will be conducted in Mountain View, Wyoming at a later date.
