Mary Ruth was a lifelong resident of Kittanning. She graduated from Kittanning High School in 1945 and from Butler County Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 1948. She was a member of the YMCA Scarlet Water Bells and enjoyed exercising. Dressing up and going out with the ladies in the Red Hat Society was one of her favorite pastimes. In her later years, she loved to watch babies and animals which made her laugh frequently. Her grandkids loved to see her famous eye roll and hear her light hearted "Oh, my!" She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
