Robert R. Shoemaker

Robert R. "Shoey" Shoemaker, 59, of Kittanning, Pa., passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital in Kittanning, Pa.

He was born on May 30, 1961 in Kittanning, Pa. to Charles R. and Katherine L. (Crissman) Shoemaker.

Robert was a 1979 graduate of Ford City High School and was employed with the maintenance department at Mission Pharmacy. In his younger years, he loved hunting, fishing, camping and riding his dirt bike. In his later years, he enjoyed landscaping for others with his wife, spending time with his son, plowing snow and running a backhoe. He will be lovingly remembered for being "Shoey".

His memory will be cherished by his loving wife, Beth N. (McHugh) Shoemaker of Kittanning; his son, Timothy Charles Shoemaker of Kittanning, Pa.; his daughter, Carrie L. Shoemaker of Uniontown, Pa.; his brother, Nathan Shoemaker and wife, Pam of Creekside, Pa.; and two sisters, Linda Contrael of NC and Connie Shoemaker and husband, Bob of Ford City.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends and family will be received from 11 a.m. until the time of services at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 16, 2021 at the Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 515 N. McKean Street, Kittanning, Pa. with Rev. Dr. Ronald G. Shafer officiating.

Due to current regulations, all social distancing guidelines will be followed. Guests are respectfully asked to wear a mask or face covering.
