Louise H. Rohrer

Louise H. Rohrer, 89, of Kittanning, PA., passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at ACMH in Kittanning.

She was born February 4, 1932 in Akron, OH to James Walter and Zelma (Mechling) Hutchison.

Louise lived in Kittanning most of her life and graduated from Kittanning High School in 1950. For 44 years, she worked as the business office accountant for the Leader Times, retiring in June of 1993. She was a member of St. Luke's United Church of Christ where she formerly held the office of financial secretary. Also at the church, Louise sang in the choir since 1945 and participated in the Women's Guild, holding the position of treasurer for many years. She enjoyed being involved in her community and was a member of the Kittanning Cemetery Board and the Women's Fellowship Group of Ford City. Louise also volunteered her time to the Armstrong County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.

Left behind to cherish her memory is her second cousin, who was thought of as a son, Mark D. Sinawski and wife, Anne of Fresno, CA; and many family members and friends who loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 43 years, John W. Rohrer, III, whom she married June 6, 1960 and passed away on Dec. 23, 2003; and her cousin who was raised as a sister, Millicent Davis who passed away on Feb. 9, 2020.

Family and friends will be received from 10 AM until the time of funeral services at 11 AM on Monday, March 15, 2021 at the Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 515 N. McKean Street, Kittanning, PA, with Rev. Edward Walters officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Louise's honor to St. Luke's United Church of Christ, 333 N. McKean Street, Kittanning, PA 16201.

Due to current regulations, all social distancing guidelines will be followed. Guests are respectfully asked to wear a mask or face covering.

Interment will follow at Kittanning Cemetery, Kittanning, PA.
