Helen Rose Campbell

Helen Rose Campbell, 89, of Ford City, PA, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021, at Canterbury Place in Lawrenceville, Pa.

She was born Nov. 13, 1931 in Kittanning, Pa to John and Pauline (Kozak) Payo.

Helen graduated from Ford City High School and worked over 42 years for the Manor Township Joint Municipal Authority, retiring in 2011 as the office manager. She found great enjoyment from owning and operating her own home rental business for over 30 years. Helen was a member of the Heilman Emmanuel Lutheran Church, an avid reader and dearly loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved living on the family dairy farm and took great pride on her sons carrying on the family legacy.

Her memory will be cherished by her sons, Mark C. Campbell and wife, Dona of Ford City and David D. Campbell and wife, Audrey of Ford City; her daughter, Audrey Lingenfelter and husband, Thomas of Stow, OH; seven grandchildren, Samantha and Kate Lingenfelter, Mark S., Rachel and Sarah Campbell, Alyssa Chromiak and husband, Aaron, and Jessica Householder and husband, Eric; three great-grandchildren, Morgan and Brooke Campbell and Noah Householder; and two sisters, Sadie "Sally" Beno of Oak Ridge, TN and Lillian McKee and husband, Chuck of Gold Canyon, AZ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Mark H. Campbell, who passed away on Dec. 23, 1985; three brothers, Mike Payo, Frank Payo and and John Payo, Jr.; and five sisters, Helen Payo, Marion "Mary" Bucholtz, Kathryn "Kay" Alexander, Anna Payo, and an infant twin sister.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, funeral services will be private.

Interment will be in Ford City Cemetery, Ford City, Pa.
