Wanda J. Cable

Wanda J. (Schrecengost) Cable, 92, took the hand of Our Precious Lord when she peacefully passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2020.

Wanda was born in Kittanning to J. Harl and Martha (Rearick) Schrecengost and was a lifelong resident of Sunnyside, Rayburn Township, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania.

Wanda was a lifelong member of Salem (Hill's) United Church of Christ. She married her husband, Kenneth E. Cable, on April 15, 1948. Wanda was a wonderful relative, friend and neighbor to all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Janice Niebauer and husband, Robert, of Shelocta; a sister, Shirlee Totos; and live-in caregivers, Rose and Brownie George.

Those in Heaven whom she joined are her husband of nearly 60 years, Kenneth E. Cable, her parents, J. Harl and Martha Schrecengost; sisters, Lorraine Steim and Linda Schrecengost; and brothers, Lawson Schrecengost and Harl Schrecengost, Jr.

Services for the immediate family will be on Wednesday, May 20, 2020, followed by Christian burial at Salem (Hill's) United Church of Christ Cemetery in Cowanshannock Township, Armstrong County, with Pastor Todd Marino officiating.
