Eugene T. "Red" Crowley

Eugene T. "Red" Crowley, 86, of Rimersburg, PA, passed away Sunday, October 27, 2019 at Clarion Hospital.

Red was born on Jan. 16, 1933 in Brady's Bend Township, Armstrong County, Pa. to Alfred L. and Helen A. (Jordan) Crowley.

Red spent his lifetime in the Rimersburg area. He was employed by Bessemer Rail line as an engineer for over 25 years. He attended St. Eusebius Catholic Church in East Brady where he was an usher and caretaker for the cemetery for many years. Red was an outdoorsman and will be lovingly remembered for his sense of humor that he shared with those around him.

His memory will be cherished by his daughters, Deanna J. Rucinski and husband, Robert, of Fairfield, OH, and Colleen M. Stockdale and husband, Paul, of Brookville, PA; grandchildren, Ronald Rucinski and wife, Candace, Joanne Rucinski, Duane Roberts and Malisha Leonard, and Heather McCurley and husband, Scott; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchild; and a sister, Evelyn M. Hosey of Rimersburg.

Red was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Jean Marie Crowley, who he married on Nov. 18, 1972 and who passed away on Sept. 18, 2016 and two brothers, William C. Crowley and James A. Crowley

Family and friends will be received from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2019 at the Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 758 Main St., Rimersburg.

Additional visitation will be held from 10 AM until the times of a Funeral Mass at 11 AM on Thursday, Oct. 31, 2019, at St. Eusebius Catholic Church, 301 E. 2nd St., East Brady, with the Father William Kuba as celebrant.

Burial will be in St. Eusebius Cemetery, East Brady, PA.
