DeWayne R. Pennington

DeWayne R. Pennington, 64, of Bruin, PA, died Sunday, January 27, 2019 at the Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born May 4, 1954 in West Freedom, Clarion County, PA, to Lewis F. and Arlene W. (Stewart) Pennington.

DeWayne was a 1973 graduate from Karns City High School then worked in construction for 10 years in Florida where he was a member of the Wellington Presbyterian Church in West Palm Beach. When he returned to Pennsylvania, he worked as a filler operator for the James Austin Company in Mars. He enjoyed fishing and working in construction. DeWayne will best be remembered for being a hard worker.

His memory will be cherished by his daughters, Dr. Erica Lynn Pennington and husband, Richard Lamagna, of Butler, Brittany Ann Goodman and husband, Jeremy, of Parker; one grandson, Dawson Allen Goodman; brothers, Ralph L. Pennington of Bruin, and Larry E. Pennington and wife, Margie, of Bruin.

At DeWayne's request, services will be privately held.
