Shirley Mae Lerch

Shirley Mae Lerch, 85, of Sligo, PA, formerly of Curllsville, PA, passed away Thursday, December 13, 2018, at Clarview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born May 4, 1933 in Curllsville, the daughter of Merle Henry and Hilda (Over) Lerch.

Shirley lived in the Curllsville area most of her life and enjoyed walking all over Curllsville and Sligo. She had a fondness for jewelry and hair bows. Shirley also liked attending the church services at Clarview and playing bingo.

She will be deeply missed by her sister, Genevieve Lerch, of Curllsville, and uncle, Orville Lerch, of Mississippi.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Frank Dwight Lerch, who died in 1944.

Relatives and friends will be received from 12 PM until the time of funeral services at 1 PM on Monday, December 17, 2018, at Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 758 Main Street, Rimersburg, PA, with Pastor Tom Switzer officiating.

Interment will be in Squirrel Hill Cemetery, New Bethlehem, PA.
