Herman R. Rounce

Herman R. Rounce, 75, of Fenelton, PA, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018, at his home.

He was born January 24, 1943 in Pittsburgh, PA, the son of Richard Henry and Florence Esther (Thieleman) Rounce.

Herman was a truck driver and for many years worked for Lakeshore Enterprises in Michigan. He loved his dogs and will be remembered as being a devoted husband and father.

His memory will be cherished by his son, Ben Rounce and wife, Jodi of Elk River, MN; two daughters, Tracy Ewaldt and husband, Thomas of Marinette, WI, and Penny Walker and husband, Dan of Foster City, MI; a step-son, Donald Furey of Fenelton; granddaughter, Marissa LaPorte; and a brother, Robert Rounce and wife, Debbie of Darlington, PA.

Herman was preceded in death by his parents; his loving of wife of 30 years, Patricia L. Furey Rounce whom he married June 24, 1988 and who died October 13, 2018; and a sister, Joan VanAtta.

A committal service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at the Butler County Memorial Park, 380 Evans City Road, Butler, PA, with the Rev. Edward A. Walters officiating.
