Lester L. Wolfe

Lester L. Wolfe, 92, of Rimersburg, PA, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018, at Clarion Hospital.

He was born August 9, 1926 in Tidal, PA, the son of Alonza and Edith (Rush) Wolfe.

Lester was a resident of the Rimersburg area since the 1950s and a member of Baker Street Church of God. For over 22 years, he worked as a dragline operator for C&K Coal Company. Lester loved antique cars and was the proud owner of a 1966 Cadillac convertible. He enjoyed relaxing by sitting on his front porch.

His memory will be cherished by his son, Donald L. Wolfe and wife, Debra, of Kittanning; grandchildren, D. Jeffrey Wolfe, Ginger Wolfe and Shellie Carnahan; great-grandchildren, Jonnie Wolfe, Lauren Wolfe and Chase Carnahan; sister, Loretta Zamperini, of Seminole; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Lester was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Eleanor (McCauley) Wolfe, whom he married September 9, 1946 and who died August 15, 2004; brothers, Arthur, Donald, Harold, Delbert, Elmer, Vincent and Kenneth Wolfe; and sisters, Marie Benn, Regina Croyle, Irene Decort, Willavene Benninger and Geraldine Ingram.

The family will receive friends from 10 AM until the time of funeral services at 11 AM on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 758 Main Street, Rimersburg, with the Rev. John A. Milliron officiating.

Burial will be in Cedarview Memorial Park, Strattanville, PA.
