Paulette Belle Neigh

Paulette Belle (Jewart) Neigh, 75, of Dayton, PA, passed peacefully to be with our Lord on August 30, 2018, surrounded by her family.

Paulette was born the only daughter to Winfield Paul Jewart and Glenamae (Thomas) Jewart of Meradith on March 15, 1943.

After graduation from Shannock Valley High School, Paulette became a certified cosmetologist. Shortly after high school in 1961, she married Floyd Davis Neigh, with whom she raised four children during their 57 years together.

Paulette was most proud of her family; her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her greatest source of joy. Some of her fondest memories were of time spent with friends and family camping on the river and at Hillcrest Lodge. A favorite pastime was playing cards with friends from Dayton, going out to celebrate birthdays with "The Birthday Girls," and the many wonderful girls' trips to the beach.

She will be held forever in the memories of her family, loving husband, Floyd; children, Gregory Neigh and wife, Kim, of Punxsutawney, Timothy Neigh, of Templeton, Rachel Baum and husband, Rick, of Greenville, SC, and Regina Powell and husband, Wayne, of Dayton; grandchildren, Cameron Neigh and wife, Leslie, Austin and Grace Neigh, Collin, Dylan, Grant and MacKenna Baum, Erica Walter, Kasey Jo Stewart and husband, Dave, and Zackery Walter and companion, Meghan Henderson; and great-grandchildren, McKenzie (Neigh) Chambers and Oliver Neigh, Brayden Herring, Emery and Madelynn Stewart, and Paislee Walter.

Paulette was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clark and Flodie Bell (Refer) Thomas; parents, Paul and Glenamae Jewart; Aunt Hazel; and Uncle William "Bill" Smith.

At Paulette's request, services will be private.
