Yvonne E. Armentrout

Yvonne E. Armentrout, 87, of Kittanning, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family.

She was born on July 30, 1930 in Kittanning, the daughter of Hazel Marie (Walker) Lias.

Yvonne was a lifelong resident of Kittanning and was baptized at St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Family was paramount in her life and she was proud to dedicate her life to caring for those she loved. Yvonne was a fabulous cook and enjoyed doing needlepoint in her spare time. She also liked researching genealogy and creating ceramics.

Throughout her life she traveled the country raising her family with her husband, Budd, while he constructed power plants from Utah to Massachusetts and many states in between. Yvonne loved her pets and her family will always remember how much she cared for them.

She will be greatly missed by her sons, William Jan Armentrout and wife, Mary Jane, of Ford City, and Steven Earl Armentrout and wife, Sandy, of Valrico, FL; daughters, Bambi Lynn Morse, of Nantucket, MA, Tawn Michelle McNell, of Grandview, MO, and Erin Lee Armentrout and wife, Amanda, of Riverview, FL; 17 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Yvonne was predeceased by her parents; loving husband, Harold R. "Budd" Armentrout, who died February 4, 2003; son, James "Bob" Wolfe, who died October 10, 2013; and daughter, Deborah Denise Soda, who died December 15, 2004.

At Yvonne's request, there will be a private family service.

Interment will be in Pine Creek Baptist Cemetery, Kittanning, PA.
