Norma J. Buzard

Norma J. Buzard, 71, of Rimersburg, PA, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital in Erie.

She was born October 7, 1946 in Bradys Bend, Armstrong Co., PA, the daughter of Norman Robert and Genevieve L. (Hamilton) Seybert.

Norma graduated from Union High School in 1964 and owned Norma's Pizza Shop in East Brady for 10 years. At her pizza shop she was able to do two of her favorite things: cook for people and meet her customers. Norma was also talented at baking and crocheting, and enjoyed riding the Harley with her husband, Carl. She had a special place in her heart for her pets and cherished the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Norma will be best remembered for her outgoing personality, having a genuine love for people and talking to anyone she met.

She is survived by her loving husband, Carl R. Buzard, whom she married December 4, 1965; son, Rob Buzard, of Knox; daughter, Kristin Shick and husband, John, of Brookville; grandchildren, Nesa Wurster and husband, Kevin, Kayley Buzard and wife, Elaina Barger, and Chance, Koby, Caden, Nate and Carly Buzard; and sisters, Doris Theuret, of Rimersburg, and Kathy Wilshire and husband, James, of Summerville.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents; two infant sons; granddaughter, Rachel Shick; and sisters, Carol Ann Seybert and Evelyn Seybert.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 758 Main St., Rimersburg, PA.

Additional visitation will be from 10 AM until the time of funeral services at 11 AM on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mark Deeter officiating.

Interment will be in Brady's Bend Cemetery, East Brady, PA.
