Brenda S. Bash

Brenda S. Bash, 60, of Creekside, PA, passed away Monday, October 9, 2017 at her mother's home, Brookview Country Manor in Creekside.

She was born May 4, 1957 in Kittanning, PA, the daughter of Robert Edgar Newsom and Audrey L. (Yount) Newsom.

Brenda was self-employed as a seamstress and worked for her sister at Darlene's Flowers in Elderton. She was also a former home visitor for Indiana County Head Start. Brenda was very family oriented and willing to help others with anything. She will be best remembered for her great sense of humor, compassionate nature and many lives that she has touched.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her mother, Audrey L. Newsom, of Creekside; husband, Jerry Bash, whom she married July 26, 2003; daughters, Nrenda Newsom, of Creekside, Leigh-Enda Dilts, of Creekside, and Reona June Long, of South Bend Twp.; grandchildren, Travis Dilts, Brandon Dilts and Trinity Louder; sisters, Darlene Rupert and husband, Larry, of Elderton, Charold Silvis and husband Jack, of Coeburn, VA, and Roberta Spencer and husband, Johnny, of Dayton, PA; close friend, Jamie Hooks, of Iselin, PA; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews that she loved very much; and those who were loved as her own children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father; brother, E. Eugene Newsom; and sister, Robin Vallie Gillespie Hilty.

A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Brenda's life will take place from 1-6 PM on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at the home of Darlene Rupert, 11158 US Rt. 422, Elderton, PA.
