Lois P. Moore

Lois P. Moore, 88, of Kittanning, PA, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Grey's Colonial Acres.

She was born April 8, 1929 in Kittanning, the daughter of Clyde George and Goldie P. (Bowersox) Dailey.

Lois was a lifelong resident of the Kittanning area and a member of the Kittanning Free Methodist Church where she was very involved for many years. She loved caring for her family and was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Lois enjoyed sewing and making clothes for her family.

She will be remembered with love by her children, Clyde Mason "Corky" Moore and wife, Tammy, of Templeton, and Ginger Dianne Nasser and husband, Thomas, of Kittanning; grandchildren, Amanda Strauser and husband, Anthony, Lauren Sirianna and husband, Chris, Emma Fletcher and husband, Mike, Tommy Nasser, and Ashley Moore; and great-grandchildren, Brayden, Haylee and Zayne Strauser.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Verl D. Moore, whom she married November 13, 1953 and who died July 29, 2012; sister, Ruth Zellefrow; brother, Bobby Dailey; and step-mother, Charlotte Cochran.

Relatives and friends may visit from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Sunday, September 17, 2017, at the Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 515 N. McKean Street, Kittanning, PA.

Additional visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of funeral services at 11 AM on Monday, September 18, 2017, at the Kittanning Free Methodist Church, 2339 Freeport Road, Kittanning, PA 16201, with the Rev. Wayne Sawyer and Rev. Forrest States co-officiating.

Interment will be in Kittanning Cemetery, Kittanning, PA.
