Ruth Zellefrow

Ruth Zellefrow, 85, of Kittanning, PA, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2017 at ACMH Hospital.

She was born March 13, 1932 in Kittanning, PA, the daughter of Ira and Salome (Mechling) Miller.

Ruth was a lifelong resident of Kittanning and a beloved mother and grandmother. She formerly worked at the Pechan Bakery and the Kittanning Sandwich Shop, and belonged to the Kittanning #4 Hose Company Ladies Auxiliary. Ruth was a member of the Kittanning Church of God and will be remembered as a woman of God who loved her bible. She enjoyed reading and was happiest when spending time with her family.

She will be remembered with love by her sons, William Edward "Buss" Zellefrow, of Worthington, and Duke A. Zellefrow, Sr., of Kittanning; daughters, Veronica Salvio, of Vandergrift, and Jean Zellefrow, of Kittanning; grandchildren, Brian Salvio, Mike Salvio, Duke Zellefrow, Jr., Alexis Zellefrow, Danielle Zellefrow, Kristie Scott and Kori Nichols; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Jeff Salvio; brothers, Fred, Homer and Tom Miller; and sister, Marcella Raymer.

A private memorial service will be held.
