Norma Lee Dunn

Norma Lee Dunn, 89, of Kittanning, PA, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.

She was born July 1, 1928 in Kittanning, PA, the daughter of James A. and Olive W. (Fenn) Shearer.

Norma was a lifelong resident of the Kittanning area, and a member of Worthington Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. Her life's calling was to be a caregiver, not only for her family but also for the many children she raised throughout her life. Norma loved traveling with her husband and cherished time spent on the phone talking to her family members. She also enjoyed being with her close friend, Grace Trudgen, and always looked forward to their trips to Dairy Queen.

She will be remembered with love by her sons, Robert James Dunn, of Rural Valley, Raymond Bruce Dunn and wife, Genelle, of Kittanning, and Rick Paul Dunn and wife, Annette, of Templeton; grandchildren, Nathan Ray Dunn and wife, Marcy, Joshua Paul Dunn, Jeremy Lee Dunn, Matthew William Dunn, and Natalie Kay Bereziak and husband, Brad; great-grandson, Ethan Dunn; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, William B. Dunn, whom she married August 18, 1946 and who died December 18, 2011; brother, W. James Shearer; and sisters, Joyce Long, Bonnie Lasher, Shirley M. Johns and O. Jean Smouse.

Relatives and friends may visit from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Thursday, August 24, 2017, at the Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 515 N. McKean Street, Kittanning, PA.

Additional visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of funeral services at 11 AM on Friday, August 25, 2017, at the funeral home, with Pastor Dick Buchanan officiating.

Interment will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, PA.
