Nancy L. Brumbaugh

Nancy L. Brumbaugh, 79, of Elderton, PA, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017 at ACMH Hospital.

She was born June 18, 1938, in Spring Church, PA, the daughter of James L. and Dorothy J. (Davidson) Bruner.

Nancy graduated from Ford City High School in 1958 and was a member of Elderton Presbyterian Church. She formerly worked as a seamstress for Big River Manufacturing and retired as the bookkeeper for Cunningham Meats. Nancy belonged to the Order of the Eastern Star and enjoyed traveling, eating out, taking car trips and reading.

Family was everything to Nancy and she was known as a Super Golden Woman, putting everyone before herself. She had a huge heart and her family was blessed to have her in their lives.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Russell A. Brumbaugh, whom she married June 1, 1956; sons, Daniel R. Brumbaugh and wife, Lisa, of Elderton, and Jamey R. Brumbaugh and wife, Sheila, of Shelocta; grandchildren, Daniel R. Brumbaugh, Jr., and wife, Janelle, and Nathan A. Brumbaugh; and great-grandchild, Haley R. Brumbaugh.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Dustin M. Brumbaugh, who died in 2009; and sister, Janie Bruner.

At Nancy's request, services will be private.

Burial will be in Bethel Lutheran Cemetery, Ford City, PA.
