Mary Jane Lucian

Mary Jane Lucian, 85, of Ellicott City, MD, formerly of Greenville, PA, passed away November 4, 2016 at Encore Nursing Home in Ellicott City, MD.

She was born in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania on April 24, 1931, the daughter of Charles Norman and Mabel (Jack) Green.

Mary Jane was a Nurse Anesthetist at Greenville Hospital for many years. She was a member of both the Adamsville Presbyterian Church and Mt. Hebron Presbyterian Church. Mary Jane was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and she enjoyed gardening, reading, letter writing, watching movies and cooking. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren. She will best be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor.

She will be deeply missed by her son, Barton Charles Lucian of Camp Hill, PA; daughter, Kathleen S. Lucian Boytim and husband Bradley of Ellicott City, MD; and three grandchildren, Taylor Lucian, Jordan Lucian, and Audrey Boytim.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 54 years, William Lucian, who died December 18, 2011; and two brothers, Charles W. and William R. Green.

Relatives and friends may visit from 2 -3 PM on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at the Adamsville Presbyterian Church, 3879 Main Street, Adamsville, PA 16110, where funeral services will begin at 3:00 PM with the Rev. Harry H. Johns, III officiating.

Burial will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, East Franklin Twp., Armstrong Co., PA.
