Robert Alan "Al" Walker

Robert Alan "Al" Walker, 69, of Kittanning, PA, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born June 2, 1947 in Mechanicsburg, PA, to Robert and Mary (Kennedy) Walker.

Al graduated from Enola High School in Harrisburg in 1965 and was employed as an electronic technician at Diskriter, Inc. of Pittsburgh. He was a member of Concord Presbyterian Church in Dayton and also attended Mt. Union Bible Church of Valley Twp.

He is survived by his loving wife, Karen A. (Clever) Walker, whom he married October 20, 1979; son, Scott A. Walker and wife, Anita, of Suffolk, VA; brother, Gary L. Walker and wife, Barb, of Marysville, PA; sister, Rosemary D. Walker, of Enola, PA; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Al was preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends will be received from 4-8 PM on Monday, April 17, 2017 at the Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 515 N. McKean Street, Kittanning, PA.

Additional visitation will be from 10 AM until the time of funeral services at 11 AM on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at the funeral home, with Pastor Jack Peters officiating.

Interment will be in Concord Presbyterian Cemetery, Dayton, PA.
