Patricia L. Reedy

Patricia L. Reedy, 66, of Polk, PA, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017 at Trinity Living Center in Grove City.

She was born August 24, 1950 in East Brady, PA, the daughter of Carl and Margaretta (Foringer) Reese.

Patricia graduated from Franklin Area High School in 1968 and worked at the Polk Center as a cook for 33 years, retiring in 2005. She belonged to the Franklin VFW and was a leader for the Venango County 4H Club. Horse riding was one of her favorite pastimes and she also enjoyed singing karaoke and cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Christina L. Wood and husband, Will, of Polk; grandson, Ryan Wood; sisters, Sandy Guiste and husband, Malcolm, of Clintonville, and Bonnie Lucas and husband, Richard, of Polk; and several nieces.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Melissa L. Reedy, who died March 29, 1998; and sister, Carol Standish.

A graveside service will be held at 3 PM on Friday, March 17, 2017 at Bear Creek Cemetery, Petrolia, PA.
