Charles "Buzz" Yori, Sr.

Charles "Buzz" Yori, Sr., 78, of Clarion, PA, formerly of Kissinger Mills, PA, passed away Friday, February 10, 2017 at Clarion Hospital.

He was born in Butler, PA on May 7, 1938, the son of Charles D. and Mabel (Smith) Yori.

Buzz lived in the area all his life and worked as a driller for C+K Coal Company, retiring in 2001. He was a very social person and belonged to the Clarion and New Bethlehem VFW Clubs and the Clarion Eagles. Buzz had a special place in his heart for his fur babies and enjoyed watching John Wayne Western movies. He had a laid-back personality and a big heart, and will be best remembered for doing anything for anyone.

He will be remembered with love by his son, Charles Yori, Jr. and companion, Randi Robinson, of Parker, and Melvin Yori and wife, DeAnna, of West Freedom; step-son, Richard Yori and wife, Julia, of Beebe, AR; daughters, Linda Fraser, of Pennsylvania, Pamela Yori and companion, Joe Phillips, of Knox, and Debra Cooper and husband, Charles, of Natrona Heights; step-daughter, Sheila Troup and husband, Dave, of Clarion; 18 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; brothers, Richard Yori, Jr., and wife, Norma, of Rimersburg; sister, Peggy King and companion, Smitty, of Chicora, and Sandra Sleigher and husband, Nicholas, of Rimersburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Buzz was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife of 29 years, Gayle (Milliron) Yori, who died September 24, 2016; first wife, Anna Mary (Best) Yori, who died October 19, 1981; grandchildren, Adam and Amanda Yori; and step-daughter, Peggy Sue Connor.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 758 Main St., Rimersburg, PA.

At the family's request, funeral services will be private.

Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Rimersburg, PA.
