John P. Denison

John P. Denison, 25, of Indiana, PA, passed away Monday, January 9, 2017 at his home.

He was born January 1, 1992 in Ravenna, OH, the son of Mark A. Denison and Tawni L. Schall.

John graduated from Ravenna High School in 2010 and attended Mt. Union Lutheran Church. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved making people laugh. John was always on the move and liked free-style rapping. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

His memory will be cherished by his mother, Tawni L. Schall, of Kittanning; daughter, Ariana E. Beck, of Kittanning; brother, Greg Samosky, of Kittanning; sisters, Taylor Samosky, of Kittanning, and Harley Ricker, of Ravenna, OH; maternal grandparents, Joan and Paul Schall, of Cherry Run; paternal grandmother, Beverly Denison, of Ravenna, OH; uncle, George Schall and fiancée, Dottie Kitchin, of Kittanning; and aunts, Sherry Estes and husband, Forrest, of Kittanning, and Sherry Denison, of Ravenna, OH.

John was preceded in death by his father, Mark A. Denison, who died in 1997, and paternal grandfather, John R. Denison.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Mt. Union Lutheran Church, 1051 Girty Rd., Shelocta, PA 15774, with the Rev. Joyce Dix-Weiers officiating.
