Zebulin T. "Zeb" Greenawalt

Zebulin T. "Zeb" Greenawalt, 22, of Dayton, PA, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2016.

He was born May 9, 1994 in Kittanning, PA, the son of Kenneth E. and Heidi L. (Clowser) Greenawalt.

Zeb was a lifelong resident of Dayton and graduated from the carpentry program at Lenape VoTech in 2012. He worked for the Local 142 Carpenters Union and served on the Dayton Volunteer Fire Department. Zeb was a licensed scuba diver and worked with the local dive team, and attended Dayton United Methodist Church and was a member of the Dayton Sportsman's Club.

Hunting, fishing and riding four-wheelers were his favorite hobbies, and he loved spending time with his girlfriend, Meghan. Zeb enjoyed having fires and hanging out with his friends. He liked sports and previously played baseball and basketball. Those who knew Zeb will always remember his wonderful sense of humor, strength and willingness to help anyone in need.

His memory will be cherished by his parents, Kenneth E. and Heidi L. Greenawalt, of Dayton, PA; girlfriend of six years, Meghan E. Brice, of Ford City; paternal grandmother, Dorothy J. Greenawalt, of Dayton, PA; maternal grandmother, Charlotte L. Clowser, of Dayton, PA; paternal aunt and uncle, Connie Bussard and husband, Kevin, of Dayton, PA; maternal aunts and uncles, David Clowser and wife, Barb, of Dayton, PA, Blaine Clowser and wife, Sharon, of Milford, NE, Steve Clowser and wife, Jackie, of Dayton, PA, Daniel Clowser and wife, Jerri, of New Bethlehem, and Mark Clowser and wife, Cassie, of Dayton, PA; numerous cousins; and yellow lab, Moose.

Zeb was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Kent E. Greenawalt; and maternal grandfather, Roger L. Clowser.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-9 PM on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at the Bauer-Bly Funeral Home, 125 E. Main St., Dayton, PA.

Additional visitation will be from 10 AM until the time of funeral services at 11 AM on Monday, August 1, 2016 at Dayton United Methodist Church, 105 E. Church St., Dayton, PA, with the Rev. Dennis Howard officiating.

Interment will be in Emory Chapel Cemetery, Dayton, PA.
