Cole Allen Traister

Cole Allen Traister, 26, of Templeton, PA, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2015 at his home, surrounded by his family.

He was born November 16, 1988 in Kittanning, PA, the son of Brian L. and Connie (Hornberger) Traister.

Cole lived in the area all his life and formerly worked as a caregiver at the Irene Stacy Community Mental Health Center in Butler. He enjoyed woodworking, making crafts and playing video games, and also had an interest in mechanical engineering. Family was very important to Cole; he had close relationships with his sisters and loved playing Skip-Bo with his grandmother.

His memory will be cherished by his parents, Brian L. "Bezer" and Connie "Binky" Traister, of Templeton; sisters, Kira Traister and Kaylee Traister, both of Templeton; paternal grandparents, Laird and Judy Traister, of Rimersburg; maternal grandparents, Thomas and Shirley Hornberger, of Templeton; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and faithful golden retriever, Mason.

Relatives and friends will be received from 5 PM until the time of the memorial service at 8 PM on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at the Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 758 Main Street, Rimersburg, with the Rev. John Phillips officiating.

Contributions can be made in Cole's honor to the Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home, PO Box 997, Kittanning, PA 16201, to assist the family with funeral expenses.
